Product Design and Development

Years of experience and close association with various authorities in the fields of fluid flow, thermodynamics, noise control and machine design have contributed significantly to the pool of intellectual property held by the company. The value we add through engineering innovation has earned us a prestigious award from a leader in the catalyst industry.

Our design team includes mechanical designers, electrical designers and PLC programmers. Mechanical design is done in 3D CAD, using SolidWorks, and electrical designs are in E-Plan. CFW Projects usually use Siemens and Allen-Bradley control systems, but alternative makes can be requested.

Our in-house research and development laboratory provides testing facilities for back pressure, airflow characteristics, drying and calcination tests.

Where new design concepts are developed with a customer’s input, a secrecy agreement can be signed.

Manufacturing

Our manufacturing facility is constantly upgraded to incorporate the latest in CAD/CAM, thus ensuring competitiveness, consistency and quality. We use various modern CNC machines to make parts and construct high-quality products.

Quality

Innovating and making quality products that can withstand the rigours of modern industrial duty has been an essential building block in our success. Our in-house quality department ensures high quality on all our products.

We benchmark our equipment against the high European manufacturing standards and, where necessary, all exported equipment complies with the European safety standards (CE).

A high degree of consistency is attained by calibrating our measuring devices at regular intervals.
