In CFW’s quality control process, all factors involved in production are reviewed. The controls include visual product inspection. Inspectors make use of lists and descriptions of product defects, such as cracks, which render the product unacceptable for the market. Other elements of the product which may require assessment include safety, environmental impact, maintainability, reliability and usability in its particular operating environment.

Elements such as job management, maintaining and updating records, process definition and management and performance criteria are all examined as part of quality control.

Discovering any defects and reporting them to management provides for two important tasks:

• It enables us to ensure that any products that customers obtain meet the required standards.
• It assists us with quality assurance, which is focussed on improving production and other processes to ensure that defects are avoided in future.

In project management, CFW undertakes the inspection of the finished work. A quality control team is then assigned to determine whether it is aligned with the aims of the project. CFW internally manages all sales as projects as part of our commitment to ensuring that our products fulfil our customers’ needs.
